Our Village Hall
The local village Hall is at the epicentre of our community and proudly hosts a WW1 free standing remembrance memorial. We are also a registered charity providing much needed facilities for use by the local community.
The Institute Hall between Llanyblodwel and Porthywaen village was opened in 1921. A wooden shed was removed from Llynclys hill and erected on the wharf near the Nut tree Farm in Porthywaen.
The current Llanyblodwel and Porthywaen Memorial Institute was built in 1930 on land donated by the Right Honorable, the Earl of Bradford.
The building was refurbished in 2003/2004 with monies from a Lotteries Grant.
